Your agent knows what you want. Your group doesn’t.
Personal agents are great at one person. Dinner for six is a different problem: six people, maybe two agents, one group chat. decidewhere.to is the part in the middle, one link everyone can weigh in on.
Connect
Streamable HTTP MCP server. No API key, no account. Add it as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client:
https://decidewhere.to/mcp
- Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the URL.
- ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → turn on Developer mode, then Create app with the URL and no authentication.
- Anything else: point your client’s streamable HTTP transport at the URL. There’s no auth step.
Try asking
- “Find somewhere fancy but quiet in Chicago for six of us, and make a link the group can vote on.”
- “Can Alinea seat ten? Do they have a private room, and when do reservations open?”
- “Where's warm in February that's easy to fly to from New York, Chicago and LA?”
- “Plan a bachelorette weekend in February: three of us from New York, three from Chicago, two from LA. Make a link we can vote on.”
Tools
find_restaurantsThe restaurants critics agree on in a city (Michelin, Eater 38, The Infatuation), with vibe tags: fancy or chill, quiet or loud, quick or a long night, classic or new.
get_restaurantA group-booking profile for one restaurant: how many it seats online and at its largest table, private room and buyout capacity, when reservations open, noise, kids, dress code. Each answer links to its source and says when we last checked it.
create_restaurant_voteTurns 2–6 of those restaurants into one link the group votes on. Works for the people in the chat who don't have an agent, which is most of them.
find_warm_destinationsWarm-weather destinations by month, ranked for a group flying from different cities: climate normals, nonstops from five major hubs, flight times, passport needs.
create_group_tripOne trip link for friends flying in from different airports. Ranks your shortlist (or our top 10) by flight time and nonstops from each city, costs and weather; the group sets their vibe and votes on a top 3.
What the data is
Restaurant rankings come from editorial consensus we track with dates and sources, our own vibe scores, and what groups actually pick. Destination numbers come from published climate normals and a curated flight matrix. We don’t pass along third-party ratings or reviews. Every tool tries to end the same way: with a link your person drops in the group chat.
Privacy and support
Tools only see what they ask for (a city, a party size, a date), never your conversation. Details are in the privacy policy. Questions or a broken tool: hello@decidewhere.to.
